Premiering at the Museum of Tolerance in Los Angeles, CA, this wide-format, seven-minute film is part of an immersive exhibit on the life and legacy of Anne Frank. The film gives an intimate look at her day-to-day life in hiding and highlights little-known facts and the events that led to her arrest.
Due to obvious challenges surrounding the lack of existing footage, Anne’s world in hiding had to be created from scratch. A set of rooms was built to mimic the ones in which Anne and her family lived. Then we created content for projection during shooting with actors, which gives the film a theatre-like quality. The exhibit and film are narrated by Academy Award-nominated actress Hailee Steinfeld.
